Napa Valley College ADN Program Spring 2022

Published

Hi everyone, I haven't seen any post for the Spring 2022 yet, so I decided to create one.

How's everyone going? Mine got stamped at 9:01 ? I'm so nervous.

My time is 9:04. Got to the post office an hour early too. The clerk made things unnecessarily difficult ?

I got 9:00am stamp. Was at the post office an hour early, goodluck everyone

So I submitted mine with a receipt inside. It was 9:01am.

Hi everyone! Fingers crossed for us all! Just curious is anyone planning on moving closer to Napa if they get in?

Everyone here that’s applied for your CNA certification is your posted on the DCA website ? Or did you just submit you certificate number ?

Your CNA license number will be posted here https://cvl.cdph.ca.gov/SearchPage.aspx within a few weeks of you passing your red cross exam

Okay I keep getting different answers one person say it may take months one person says it may post in the next few days after the exam so I’m really confused right now about that

Niya, your certificate number has to be posted on the CDPH website otherwise Napa VAlley won't accept your ADN application. It happened to me last year, I passed the CNA exam with Red Cross in August 2020 and the CDPH due to Covid took forever to post my CNA Certificate number. After calling every month to follow up they finally posted it in April 2021, so I was able to apply again to ADN program. Good luck, they are very slow and make sure to follow up with them.

I took my TEAS last year but I know they are still being lenient because of Covid. I wasn't finished with my CNA class when applications were due last year, but I made sure to make a note of it in my application and I didn't run into any problems.

Hello if you don’t mind be asking did you apply last year for the program ?

Did you also have your application time stamped at 9am when your submitted your application in 2020 ?

I did apply last year but I didn't get it because my time stamp was 9:05. When I got the email confirming I passed the CNA red cross exam in September I forwarded that to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME). So just because my CNA license number wasn't posted on the website yet she still knew I passed which is basically all they need to know.

Niya, my application was stamped right at 9 am, but Margarita said if my CNA certificate number is not posted by September 1st on CDPH, I will not get in. It does not matter if you passed the CNA exam they want to see the certificate posted on CDPH by September 1st. I had everything and the only reason I didn't get in was because of my CNA certificate.
