There is a ANN conference in New Orleans this yr-Sept 3-6(?) in New Orleans. Years ago, most hospitals would pay a certain percentage of the conference but due to budget cuts that doesnt happen anymore. There have been a couple of conferences that I would really wanted to attend but even with sharing hotel costs it was very expensive so I passed.
Hello TallyNurse,
On behalf of the Board of Directors of NANN we hope you decide to attend the 30th Annual NANN Educational Conference in Phoenix this year. The conference promises to be dynamic and informative with many opportunities to learn of new therapies and research as well as many opportunities to network with colleagues in the neonatal field. In addition to the educational offerings our exhibit hall offers a wide array of vendors you can talk to about the newest products available to help you care for the neonates in your unit. While I may be biased:), I have always found the NANN conference to be the most valuable of the national neonatal focused conferences. Again, we hope you decide to join us! We are looking forward to another great conference.
Sincerely,
Pam Heaberlin, NNP-BC

Hi all,
I'm looking into this year's NANN conference in Phoenix. I am having trouble deciding if it is worth the money (going to cost me probably close to $1000 with flight and hotel). Anyone been to ones in recent years? I originally planned on going but am now having trouble biting the bullet and registering. No one from my unit goes because of how expensive it is and my unit rarely helps pay for conferences. If you don't suggest the NANN conference is there another conference before the end of the year that you do suggest?
