I recently passed the nclex and want to help others, this was my study plan! This may be expensive but it worked for me
1st i completed 3 week NSCBN got the certificate, i did this in 10 days!
2nd i completed hurst , this took 3 weeks
3rd i purchased another 3 week course of nscbn , then i matched it with all the hurst content videos, so if i was doing peads , i did the peads in both courses ect
4th then I did kaplan and did most of the trainers and strategy , i started practising on q bank and watched barbaras question videos, i would not recommend the content videos except for pharmacological as they seem to be the only people that do videos on this.
Then i did 75 questions on every subject individually to highlight my weak points and would focus study on them ,
5th i did PDA book ,
6 th in the final few days before examination i condensed all my learning together! I watched hurst videos back to back, i watched barbaras teaching videos inbetween and on the morning of the test , i flipped through my hurst folder, lab values watched 10 minutes of kaplan strategy, and set of to the test centre.
All this was done in 8 weeks, i took the last 2 weeks of work to study even more intensely!
I would say on my days off work i would study anywhere from 6 to 10 hours a day! That was 3 days a week , up until the last 2 weeks when i took time off work , then it was 8 to 10 hours a day every day for that 2 weeks!
