First off, just let me say that I don't want to scare anybody from taking the test or anything like that. I'm just posting this because I don't think I've ever been this depressed in my life. Anyway, I took my nclex yesterday at my local Pearson vue, I was nervous just like anybody else. Shortly after arriving we learned that they were having issues with their computers so we waited until almost 9am to test, pretty much everybody in the room had been there since at least 7:30 am since we were to test at 8:00am.
Once they started getting people on the computers the man running the desk asked if anybody would like to reschedule because it was pearson vue policy to offer since we got a late start. I didn't take it, looking back, I wish I would have. So we get started and everything is going ok, the test was definitely harder than I expected and I was definitely feeling some major anxiety. The scheduled break time pops up and I decide to take a break, I really needed to get up and stop looking at that darn screen for a few. I come back like 2 min later and they can't get me and another guy logged back in. We waited in the lobby for a straight hour before they got us back on. My anxiety at this point was through the roof.
They never offered to let us reschedule or anything just told us we had to finish that their was nothing they could do. When we were waiting, I told the proctor that if the time ran out, I would likely fail, she acted like there was nothing she could do about it. Anyway, I finished the test with around 150 questions and my anxiety was at 100 the whole time. I don't like making excuses, but all of that definitely affected me during the test. I walked out like many others have feeling defeated and now very depressed. I have no clue if I passed, but if I had to bet my life right now, I'd say I failed. I hope and pray nobody else has an experience like I did. Good luck to all.

Eek! I should be taking it in a month or so and I guess I know to accept the rescheduling offer!!
Yes, definitely take it. An hour of my test time was gone and there was nothing they could do! I would have been in huge trouble if I would have had to do all the questions.

I hope you pass. That's terrible. They should reimburse you if you fail. I just got my fail letter but I really should have studied more. I seriously can't imagine doing this again. It was such a drain mentally and emotionally. I was there for 5 hours and knew I was doing badly. I'm glad we can take it again if we need to. Sometimes pressure works in your favor. Fingers crossed!!!
Thank you for the kind words. I hope you pass as well. Good luck to you.
I passed! Wow, I still can hardly believe it! PVT worked for me btw.
