It sounds to me like your facility's core course program for nee ICU nurses. While it might better prepare you to write the CCRN, I doubt that there are any certifications will be granted upon completion. This question can best be directed to your nurse manager or unit educator.
FYI: If by TNCC you're referring to the Trauma Nurse Core Course, that is a two day course designed primarily for ED nurses, which provides a course completion card and certificate upon successful completion, not a certification.

So my hospital signed me up and wants me to take their critical care course. Do I receive certifications from this? Will I be ventilator certified and receive my tncc? Or is this a separate thing? Thank you.
