So I feel like a jerk even posting this, because I know so many of you out there can't find a position, but it's killing me. I graduated nursing school in August with my BSN and the intention of moving out of state (boring small town, bad weather, best friend lives somewhere warmer and more fun). I applied to many positions in the units I wanted, but every single one was asking for 2-5 years experience. The NICU in my hometown where I had done my capstone called to tell me there was an open part time position and not even having gotten an email or phone call from any of the places I applied, I accepted it because I needed money and I could have full-time when it was available. Six weeks later, the NICU in the highly-regarded children's hospital in the place I want to work called to ask for a phone interview based on the resume I had sent the recruiter 3 months ago. What do I do?! I like the unit I am on now, but I was planning on job searching again in a few years. I guess I'm trying to convince myself that leaving this job after only a couple months wouldn't be terrible. Advice please!
Nonetheless
