The heck? Daycare for pediatric experience
[video=youtube_share;DS_dLqGVsQU]
My university did well child rotations within a daycare. We had to rotate which age group we were with and make notes on things children did that were developmentally appropriate, delayed, or advanced. Our instructor got permission from parents for us to do assessments on the children and I learned things like newborn reflexes and distraction techniques there. I did spend a LOT of time watching the kids while the daycare employees were messing with their phones or talking amongst themselves and was upset that I felt like I was paying to babysit. The daycare center had no real meeting rooms so we had post conference at a pizza buffet across the street. Thankfully, this was a short rotation and followed by sick child in a children's hospital. And we had psych in two different psychiatric centers.
I agree with some of the Youtube comments. Could it be they can't find jobs in hospitals because many hospitals are not hiring LVNs any more?

Why wouldn't you attend one of these schools? There's a nursing shortage and people are destined to immediately get jobs, no matter how lackluster their education, see here: https://allnurses.com/general-nursing-discussion/press-release-allnurses-946353.html
