Anyone who got in have a lower GPA but experience, leaderships, certs etc. got you in? Trying to not get discouraged from my GPA from 8+ yrs ago

I had a lower GPA from my Associates in Art >12 years.  It drug my overall GPA down quite a bit, and I would get waitlisted or rejected.  Take some graduate level classes that could transfer in to help boost your GPA and show you can do graduate level work.

That's exactly my problem! I have all the other "things" they want, even travel PACU and OR experience, EXCPET the GPA, so I'm trying to not get discouraged before I even apply. I was wondering if taking some classes would help. Were you ever able to get in anywhere?

I applied two years in a row and got waitlisted or rejected.  I ended up taking time away from applying because my kids were in school.  During that time, I got a MSN and a DNP.  I think I would have gotten in with just some graduate level courses, but I wanted to do something with my time.  I got in this year to two programs (I declined my seat at Murray).  Keep trying.
