I'm still waiting. I interviewed Friday. I'm wondering if yesterdays acceptances interviewed Thursday?

I interviewed on Friday and got the acceptance email yesterday.

Official rejection came today.

Did anyone get acceptances after Tuesday? I still haven't heard anything

CONGRATS to everyone that got in!! I would love some words of encouragement after putting off applying anywhere for the past 5 yrs 😩 This past year I stopped traveling PACU, to go back to the ICU because my previous ICU exp is "too old". I am currently in a high level MSICU in a large city, I'm a preceptor, and do CRRT, we just don't do the cardiac devices, they go to our cardiac units. With that being said, did anyone get in that DOES NOT have cardiac/level 1 Trauma units experience? I am trying to stay optimistic that all my surgical/PACU experience and being an older student will help me during the interview process. I am just worried that I won't even get the chance to get there. Any words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated! 💜

Question for those accepted in September, had you applied to Murray State before or was this your first time?

I applied once in 2019 but didn't have recent ICU experience and was denied an interview. This was my first time getting an interview and was the first and only school I applied to and got in.

Thanks for the information.

I know this post is mostly dead now but hopefully someone has some insight.

I have about 7 years ICU (mostly cardiac, some float in a level I) experience, but haven't been in the ICU since fall of 2022.. I'm a CNM/WHNP and have been working in the APRN role. My graduate GPA is 3.6 (4.0 for the PGC). I don't have CCRN (and would need to return to bedside to qualify). Lots of leadership, volunteer, CE, etc.

Without returning to the bedside for a year+ Murray seems like the most realistic option for CRNA (I'm also a KY resident) but is it actually realistic?
Those that have gotten in, do I have a chance? what advice? thoughts? give it all to me. I've been tossing around this idea for years and keep talking myself down.

Hey there! Send me your email and I'll chat with you.

@robcrna2028 it won't let me send any messages for some reason, so my email is

Would greatly appreciate any advice and words of encouragement after being out of the ICU for a few years.
