Hi there,
I am a new grad (RN) and I am stumped. I have looked and been unable to found out the WHY as to why we give mucomyst if a pts creatinine is out of certain perameters pre-ct scan. What is the rationale behind this? Any help / knowledge would be grand! I hate just doing and not knowing they why part of an intervention!
Thanks so very much!
