Hey guys! How was your interview? Mine is more clinical question. ? and now is the waiting game. Do you know when are they going to let us know? ?

Did you feel like you did well during the interview? I felt like I did fine then I started rethinking more how I did and felt like I could have done better ?

Specializes in Cardiopulmonary ICU.

Definitely more clinical based. I did okay, but could have done better. They did ask a few questions that stumped me bc they were so random, but I never felt intimidated bc they made the environment very welcoming. We will see. Hope to see you all in January.

That's EXACTLY how I feel! Right after, I felt like I did fine and now I've been rethinking everything and how I could have done better as well!

Ugh! It just keep replaying in my head driving me nuts ?. We’re  you guys able to answer every clinical question they ask you or did they ask anything that you weren’t able to answer? I was so nervous that I wasn’t able to answer one of there question ?

SAME! I felt like I stumbled on one about an Impella device. I was asked what the purpose of it is and I said to unload the left ventricle. Then they said yes, but what else...I said to provide better end organ perfusion via an increase in cardiac output...and they said yes again...but then finally I said to decrease the workload of the heart. And that's what they were looking for! But it took a second to get there! So now I keep replaying that in my head!

At least you were able to give them what they wanted to hear. ☺️ Oh well. I guess will just have to wait. 5 more days to go. ??

How did you feel your timing was?

Specializes in MICU.

I Got a lot of clinical as well. I felt like I did pretty good but now I’m second guessing everything I said. We’ll seeeeeeee! They were so welcoming though. Hopefully they give us a chance.

I felt like it was okay. But again. As I replay how it went, it felt like I could have done better ?
