Published

I haven't found any recent postings regarding MTSA....The interview sounds horrifying compared to other programs....Can anyone share the scenarios that they pulled out of the hat before going into the interview with the "panel of judges"?? lol And if you got in...did you answer every question correctly? I have never been so nervous in my entire life!! Thanks so much!!

Umm...did I miss something? No one offered me a tour. Nor did anyone at any point ask me if I had questions. However, I feel like my interview was flawless. I breezed through my scenario so they threw another one at me. I felt like saying wait, is this legal?!

I picked something I never do at work so I struggled a little but I think it went ok. Def thought of things I could have said more or differently lol I also had the one scenario then they added a second in as well...lol I had a full tour of the campus...Sim labs , classroom etc. Spoke w two guys that just graduated. Fingers crossed!! I hope we all get the call

I got your message but I haven't posted 15 flippin times so I can't respond. Slightly irritating. But yeah, two scenarios. tPA--what it is, indications, contraindications, location of stroke, other uses for tPA, what imaging is necessary, and then SAH with ICP problems/treatment, CPP, expected vital signs, etc. Nothing on drips or vents whatsoever (thank goodness).

Yep, Thank God I went with Cardiac!! I have only been a neuro nurse for about 3-4months, not ready for that!

I did my tour BEFORE my interview, so he explained a lot of stuff on it.... when I was done with my interview and they asked if I had any questions I couldn't even come up with one. I feel like I should have asked SOMETHING.
