Up to 72

Specializes in ICU.

That means roughly 1:2 chance of getting in if you get an interview...way better odds than all the other programs I looked into so far. I’m getting excited!

Very true! But the interview is tough and I’m slightly freaking out. These meds at a cellular level.... just wow ?

I’m definitely studying them, but not freaking out. I think if you know mode of action and how they are eliminated you should be fine. Anything more is just icing on the cake. I think everyone will generally get the clinical questions right, or at least good enough to make it negligible. I believe most places eliminate based upon personality questions. I’d rather spend 3 years with someone I can see myself having a good professional relationship with rather than some alpha who thinks they know everything.

Well yeah same lol I just hope they’re thinking is like that too! I’ve read past threads about the interviews and it has said to know alpha 1 receptors down to the calcium release of the endoplasmic reticulum causing contraction of the muscle. And I’m just thinking ummm ok that’s way too much.

We all have a 50/50 chance and that’s pretty darn good! Lol

Hey guys!!! I’m sure you’ll all do fine! I’m in the current class for MTSA. I have a friend applying and told her to check this out! Don’t sweat it!! You all got an interview for a reason ?
