Mt. Sac Spring 2022

Hi guys I wanted to create a forum to see those who are also applying to Mt. Sac in July. I applied last application period and didn't make it with 70 points. I was told they had 500 applicants so I'm hoping for an opportunity this coming term.

I called earlier and they offered in person and phone appointment. I picked October 13th as well

I made an appointment for Oct 20 and they said it was remote. Do any of you guys know if that means it's by phone call or through zoom? For the transcripts, do they accept e-transcript, or do they want the transcript to be mailed instead?

Hi Kay,

I think when they say remote it means by phone. I would assume that "official" transcript would be any sealed document so maybe mailed from your school where you get all the pre-reqs done? 

by the way anyone here get an email about turning in vaccination record?

Hey guys, I'm planning to apply for Fall 2022 this January. I just wanted to know if anyone who was a caregiver received the 28 points for work experience? or do you have to be a CNA to receive those full 28 points? I work in a assisted living facility with mentally diabled elderly where I help them ADL's. I'm hoping that this job can count, if not Ill just get a CNA job to play it safe!

For those who had their counseling appointment already how long did it take ? Just asking cuz I have a new work orientation on zoom at the same time as my meeting. Trying to see if I can sneak it in at same time or call if they can reschedule later in day or a different day?

Mine was about 45 mins. Or so I had some questions.

so I had my counseling appointment on October 19th. They said to keep an eye out for  an orientation email from the nursing department. my final application score was 91.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed

How many people in this thread already had their appointment? Just curious cuz we maybe hear back next week

I have mine scheduled for 10/28. At the time of our appointment will they confirm our final application score ?

They don’t tell your points. They still have to verify your other stuff. The appointment is just to see if your eligible such as passing math, having a hs or college degree stuff like that. The other parts is verified through the department
