Mt. Sac Spring 2022

Published

Hi guys I wanted to create a forum to see those who are also applying to Mt. Sac in July. I applied last application period and didn't make it with 70 points. I was told they had 500 applicants so I'm hoping for an opportunity this coming term.

How many test dates are left? Since I had the earliest one and this is nerve racking

does anybody know how long the remediation HESI class takes? ?

I'm not entirely sure how long the remediation class takes but it says on their website that once you complete it, you're able to take the HESI again for the following application period.

They said two more weekends and don’t worry! They informed us they accepted 120 applicants this year. I think they are accepting more than 60 for the cohort due to the high attrition rate. They were three short last semester.

@Junghun Ku

who told you that? Did the nursing department say anything? I took the exam the first weekend and didn't get a choice. It's been super nerve-wracking ?

80 and thank you, what about you?

If I did the points correctly I started with a 77 or 78 I can't remember  haha  but I had 3 days to study cuz something was wrong with their email and I could reschedule.. I was working all those 3 days so I technically did 1.5 days of studying  and got an 80. I'm crossing my fingers to be part of the cohort!

The test proctor, Romero, informed us in the beginning of the class. Yeah tell me about it, they informed me Wednesday night and I discovered about it Thursday morning. I’m 95% sure you got in. No sweat! Enjoy your months off before the actual stress begins January ?

@Junghun Ku

Thanks for the confidence boost! I hope we both get in!

My proctor didn't really say anything he didn't know much about it. I'm really hoping they're taking more than 60 and so that means more than 40 confirmed cohort or more than 20 alternates.

They take 60 and 40 alternates.

Oh really?? That's awesome. Is that because they're taking 120 applicants this year!?

Hey guys! Hope you had a great weekend.

Those who took the HESI test, how long did it take for you to complete the test? And how many hours do we get (to complere it)? Thank you!
