Hi all!
I needed some advice on 2 of these colleges' ADN programs: Mount San Antonio College and Citrus College.
if you graduated, how prepared did you feel going into the work force?
did hospitals hire easily straight from the ADN program?
Do hospitals prefer graduates from one program over the other?
which program is better?
how were the instructors?
I want to go to the school that will give me the best experience in becoming an RN, so I need to decided between the two.
Thank you so much in advance!

Hi, I'm not a nursing student yet, but I was also accepted two both programs. I chose mt sac because its a has a good reputation locally, and it seems like they have a student support system like nursing tutors and open door policies. Really, most CCs have good reputations around here.
I sent you a PM.
Thank you for your response! It definitely helps. I did do all my pre-reqs at citrus, which would be a reason to stay since I'm very comfortable with the school and campus. But, from the research I've done mount sac does seem like a better program since it is more established! :) I am not allowed to send PMs because I don't have enough posts
Still can't send PMs!
Hi Ivan! Hmmm I'm not sure if we did have classes together or not. I'll save your number! :) and I did start it. It's taking forever since they want all of it done without a calculator and the work done on scratch paper (or at least that's how I interpreted it!). Wbu?
