THis may sound like a silly question but do you have to take the NCLEX RN again if you get your MSN!

No NCLEX RN is usually only taken the once. Exception would be if you haven't nursed for several years and the BON decided you need to retake it

The NCLEX is what gives you the license to practice nursing. As the previous poster said, you don't have to re-take it just because you get additional education.
However, you may have to take a similar test to become certified or licensed for some advanced roles. For example, there are exams to take to become a Nurse Practitioner ... or CNS ... Nurse Anesthetist ... etc. Depending on your specific advanced practice focus, you may need to take a certification exam.
