The leadership degree will focus on being a manger/administrator. The education degree will focus on teaching you how to be a teacher.
Which type of work do you want to do? Where do your talents lie? What have your experiences been with each type of function (management vs. education)? You should not begin either program until you have tried each type of role at a lower level and see how well you do at it and how well you like it.

Speak with an advisor at the school you choose. I graduated in May with MSN concentrating in Leadership. Many of the base courses are similar and will be required no matter what tract you choose (i.e. research, theory, issues in nursing, research application). Perhaps begin with these and your path might be enlightened by these courses...... good luck.
