MSN expiration date?

I want to become a nursing educator, however, I have a LONG ways to go. I was just wondering though, do any of you have your BSN from more than 5 years ago, and are pursuing an MSN? Will the courses have to be repeated or do you have to start from scratch if you apply for an MSN, say, in 10-20 years?

The problem is, I'd LOVE to get my bachelor's. BUT, the universities I'm looking at offer BSN to MSN in three years. I can only imagine the criticism (I'll still be naive too) I'll get as a nurse with her MSN and say, 3 yrs experience in a facility, ltc, etc being around 26-28. I want to experience everything first! I want to be able to tell stories! I want to work as a nurse first, work my way up, learn (almost) everything possible, be a supervisor or two, then settle down and teach when I have a family. I'd like to be able to teach at around 55+ at a local community college or other nursing school. What do you guys think? Tell me your history

The time is not as important as the course itself. Your transcript would be reviewed when you apply for the program. The schools in this area honor degrees that are 15-20 years old. Graduate school is different than baccalaureate programs.
