Are you trying to find out if it will help you get a job in case management? Most nurses in my department have years of experience in diverse specialties. I have 7 years of diverse specialties as well and still work PRN in the ED. Most employers require at least three years experience. I believe an MSN in case management might be a waste of time. What else can you do with the degree in case you don't get a CM position? My self as well as some nurses in my department are in grad school and none is specializing in case management.

Hi! Do you think that an MSN in Care Coordination or Case Management could help a new nurse (1 year of M/S experience) to overcome the lack of experience? Or do you think it's a waste of time/money?
Thanks for the feedback!
