MPI of Tampa Fl.

U.S.A. Florida

Im looking to attend MPI very soon. However I've already paid for a cruise in April. Im wanting to know when spring break is and how hard is it to drop classes if I need to. Please help if you are attending or have attended this school.

I don't want to discourage you, but MPI is a very disorganized school. The owner isn't a nurse, and she thinks she knows how each and every class should be run. You never know what is going to happen day-to-day at that place....it's a zoo. Good luck wherever you decide to go.

thanks for the advice. I still have not decided. I need a fast track program is the only reason im thinking of attending. Have you attended there and if so how long?

I was actually an instructor there, so I saw some of the "behind the scenes" chaos that goes on there. It's a real mess. That doesn't mean you shouldn't go there. However you should look at various schools and programs and choose the one that best meets your needs. I know you want to "fast-track" things, but sometimes (especially in nursing), getting all the materials forced down your throat too fast is actually a very bad thing....think: try drinking water from a fire hose. People may get through this program, but others will drown...and they end up re-taking classes = more $$ for the owner. Things work out in her favor very nicely. Anyway, look around and see what's best for you.
