It is extremely difficult finding work as a new grad in CA, and 10 times worse in Sacramento. With an out-of-state education and no experience, expect to be without a job for a year or longer.
Getting licensed in CA takes about three months at the minimum. The California BRN is the slowest board of nursing in the entire country.

Good evening,
I am graduating from Nursing School in December 2015 and plan on taking my NCLEX in Texas (since it is apart of the compact) but I need to move back to CALI for my family. Does anyone know how hard it is to get a first time RN-BSN job in the Sacramento area? Or how hard it is to get my license for CA?
Any suggestions on where to work in the Sacramento Area?
I appreciate any advice.
