Moving to Sacramento area

Hello all. I am looking to relocate from Charlotte, NC to the Sacramento area. I have been a nurse for 8yrs with 6 1/2 of that time being in emergency medicine. I have TNCC, ENPC, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and BLS certifications.

I have put out several applications to Sutter Health as well as Kaiser. Do you all have any suggestions for me?

I would really like to move before the end of the summer so that I can get my daughter into school at the beginning of the school year so that she can get acclimated.

I should mention that I already applied for and obtained my CA nursing license.

Don't forget about VA Hospital in Mather, UC Davis Med Center & Shriners Hospital.

Also look at jobs in the suburbs too - Mercy Folsom, Sutter Roseville, Kaiser Roseville, Sutter Auburn.

If you are looking to get out of the hospital, Sacramento is the hub for state nursing jobs (less $ and completely different work, but thought I'd mention it).
