Moving from Palm springs and need help!

Hi, I hope someone can give me an input where i can work as a new VN grad whether Nursing home or Hospitals. I will be taking my board exam by july here in Cali. and I know i have to call the NV board of nursing for an endorsement. Does anyone also know how long will it take for an endorsement to process and will the Live scan fingerprint here be valid also in NV?. Thanks a lot

Hey Malibugirl,

I'm an RN here in NV. Just like you I moved here from Cali right after my graduation from RN school. If you don't plan to practice in Cali you may want to apply directly to NV for your LVN licensure. I made the mistake of applying for my CA license first then endorsed it to NV. It took me from Jan to March to get my CA and NV license. It's a waste of time I think. The first thing you do is to request the application from the Board then submit your finger print card. There is no live scan here. I submitted mine about 1 month before I move here.
