I am expected to graduate January 2020 with a BSN and soon thereafter will be taking the NCLEX in California.
I am very interested in applying for jobs in New York as well as jobs in California so I was advised to take my NCLEX in California since that's where I am currently and if I am offered a job in NY, THEN look into transferring my license to NY, but my career advisor really had no idea so I wanted to come on here and ask if anyone had actually received a license in California and then got a job in NY or if anyone has insights on this matter, I would appreciate any help and all the help.
Also, I am looking for New Grad Programs, and my school is able to help me find those near my school but had no idea how to help for out of state hospitals and wanted to know if any of you lovely RN's or student nurses in NY know of any that will be happening near end of this year/early next year, I will be so grateful.
