Hello everyone, I need some help. My family will be moving to El Paso this Summer 2011,I've been looking for nursing programs and I found ECC, Texas Tech and El paso U. I have taken several pre-nursing classes in other community colleges. I don't know if anyone can give me an idea in how the RN programs work in the above schools. I just don't want to waste a lot of time in waiting and waiting to rank and take more classes. Seems that ECC is kind of discouraging when you try to get some info about their program.. I really DISLIKE that...
I appreciate any feedback....

Hey Magreen01,
I couldn't send you a message cuz it seems your inbox is full so here it is!
Even though I'm not a parent, I can definitely give you some insight of whats to come. The first semester is very manageable in my opinion. The really challenge comes during second semester in where you almost have to dedicate about 30 clinical hours, lecture, and studying. Personally, it was very difficult for me to get adjusted to. But I know about 3-4 people who have kids that are doing just fine. I believe having a support system like family or friends (especially having a young one) can definitely make school manageable. I know a friend who has 3 kids and she has a hectic life style but is able to make really good grades. That's my two cent!
