So I currently live in maine as of right now. I'm coming up on a year for experience and by the time i move in october i will be at a year and 4 months. I'm just curious as to how difficult it will be for me with my qualifications to obtain a job in Phoenix. I'm looking to move to the ICU or Cath lab would be my top two choices and i think either St josephs hospital or Scottsdale healthcare are my top 2 hospitals. I work on a cardiac telemetry step down unit nights, I have my ACLS, i'm EKG certified and have taken a couple of critical care courses. I also teach nursing at a university. I dont foresee any difficulties with obtaining a position but i would like some other view points :) thanks!

The market for new grads here is extremely competitive, but since you have some experience I think you should be OK. If I were you, I'd start applying 6-8 weeks before you plan on moving to see if you get any interest. Then you will have some idea of how difficult it will be.
