Hey There! Just interested to know if anyone applied for the MSMC traditional BSN program for the Fall 2010 term.

I was told to apply next term because I forgot to send in a transcript from a community college that I attended during high school. I think I took one class... So ridiculous. And they're not letting me send it in now..

CONGRATS! I bet words can not explain how you feel right now :) Just curious what was your GPA applying to MSMC? I want to get a feel on how competitive transferring to MSMC. Did you also turn in a personal statement, internship, and recommendation letter? Thanks!

Thanks! My overall GPA is about a 3.6. My science GPA was like a 3.2 though. I had a letter of recommendation as part of the application process and I did have to do a personal statement as well. I also volunteered at a hospital for about a year. I don't think its necessary but it helps make you look better. Best of luck! Let me know if you get in!!!

I am curious who on this thread has interviewed and /or applied to any surrounding schools. I'm feeling restricted by options now that the universities are impacted or close to it. there are several private schools in the area but i'm most interested in MSMC. I haven't interviewed or attended info meetings so I'd like any insight into how MSMC surpasses others schools in your opinion or if you are attending out of lack of options. thanks in advance.

how many people do they accept as transfers into the program? i heard around 13, is that correct? my friend is thinking about applying there and i want to get some info. for her.
