Mount Sinai Phillips School of Nursing (PSON) ABSN - Spring 2026

Published

hi all! I didn't see a thread started on here yet for Spring 2026 so I thought I'd start one. Has anyone committed to this program yet?

Hey guys! How long after the preliminary review did you get an update on your acceptance?

Hi! They reached out to me to confirm information on my pending classes on 8/12 and I received my acceptance letter yesterday!

I too am still taking pre-reqs. 2 classes left. The patho and pharm aren't requirements to begin the program but they did mention that it would make the course load lighter during the first semester.

I have to finish up two more pre requisites, they end in December. How is the workload for patho and pharmacology on the program they recommended ?

Well those two classes is during the first semester along with intro to nursing, health assessment and lab and basic skill. A lot of people says pharmacology and patho is a lot of info.

Hi guys!

I am still waiting on a LoR from my employer... I'm curious what y'all's stats are. I have a really great pre-req GPA, but I feel like I'm lacking in healthcare experience. Did anyone get accepted who does not have any healthcare/clinical experience?

My previous jobs were completely unrelated. The only healthcare experience I had was as a part time optometry tech. Not super relevant!

I do have hospital experience but I worked in environmental services never hands on with patients.

Did NursingCas take long to verified your application guys? I'm still waiting on one of my reference letters but I read they won't process the application until it is submitted.
