Hi All,

Creating this thread for Fall 2024 applicants!

For those who applied and got into PSON, did you have any patient care experience?

I did but there are some people in the program that didn't.

Hi @Futurenurse0510 Thank you for this response. It gives me some hope.

Hi All! For those currently in the PSON ABSN program, can you please share how many courses you had to take in the first semster alone? I'm asking because I got accepted and I do not have pharmacology and pathophhsiology. I'm trying to see if it's doable to take those in the first semester. Thank you.

You'll be taking five classes in total: Pharmacology, Pathophysiology, Introduction to the Nursing Profession (fundamentals), Health Assessment with lab, and Basic Skills Lab. I have two friends currently taking all five classes. One says it's manageable, and she even works 10-15 hours a week, but stresses that strong time management is key. The other says, "Oh, you poor thing. It's draining—back-to-back exams every week. Good luck, bro." Hope that gives you a better idea!

What do the hours for the classes look like ? Monday through Friday give me a day in the life

@HuiYuan Li Thank you for taking the time to respond. This absolutely gives me a clearer picture of what the workload is like.

Hi Danielle Butz May I ask what the deferral process was like? I am leaning toward deferring till the Summer 2025. I have few things to put together at home before starting so I can give it 100%.
