Mount Saint Mary’s University MSMU Spring ‘21 ADN Program

Hello everyone!

I’d like to make this for those who’ve been accepted to the (direct to nursing) ADN program for Spring 2021, so we can introduce ourselves since we’ll be in the same cohort for the next 2 years ?
We can help one another by asking questions and giving updates!

Hi, I was just going to ask the same thing; I’m not sure where to find any of the books.

I also have no idea. I’ve reached out a couple of times already and haven’t heard back from anyone. I tried going in personally but the security guards said it was closed.

Hey, they just sent the e-mail with links to the books. Check you student e-mail.

Check your student e-mail. They were closed for a while. They just opened back up today. So they might reach back to you within this week. It's stressful because they've open back up only a week before our classes start ?

Has anyone been able to get a hold of the (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME), or anyone for that matter? I've tried calling, and several e-mails dating back the week of orientation, and I've received practically no response ?

No responses! However, I know she did send an email yesterday with a reminder for everyone to sign up for the fit test.

ugh, it's kind of frustrating. Yeah, I had the fit test this morning. I've tried every phone number they have. I figured they're physically not at the office. But I still have restriction on my registration bc I'm a transfer student. I sent them my final transcript before the holidays. I've e-mailed the ADN office and (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME). I was wondering if I should e-mail the program director, getting desperate here LOL

Hey Aria,

I was able to get a hold of her. I told her that I was not able to find any book list on canvas so she forwarded it to me. I’m trying to attach screenshots of the websites and codes to order the books from.

Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry you have to go through that stress! I would try calling her instead (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME AND PHONE NUMBER) Or if that doesn’t work maybe the financial aid office because they have answered my call: (MODERATOR EDIT OF PHONE NUMBER) and ask them to transfer you to the person in charge of what you need. 
Also try emailing the Student Success Coordinator at (MODERATOR EDIT OF EMAIL)

Also my financial aid counselor responded to me : (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME AND PHONE NUMBER)

Also, the Student Accounts Department responds! At [email protected] and 213.477.2540 or 310.954.4040

You can also try going on msmu.edu on the Nursing Admission page and click on the live virtual chat on the bottom right hand corner. They’ve responded to me there before from: (MODERATOR EDIT OF EMAIL)

Thank you! I appreciate it. I'm currently waiting for the live chat, it's a little slow, but it's something haha. I've mostly called everyone, but the dean. I know the financial aid office picks up so I'll call them again and have them help me out tomorrow
