Any alternates waiting to hear back this week?

For those of you who were offered an interview, what were your stats prior to applying (GPA, length in ICU, committee involvement, certifications) ?

Hi everyone! I know this thread is a year old. I have applied to MMU for 2024 start and have received an invite for interview. How is the interview? Is it very heavily clinical based?
thanks in advance!

Wondering the same thing!

Hey guys. So, it has been a while since interviewing, but I do remember it was aimed more at emotional intelligence than clinical intelligence. "How would you handle criticism. How do you get along with others." Those sort of questions. Not saying that clinical information doesn't matter, but having a personal "why" and how to get along with others is important. I know this isn't much, but hopefully this helps!

Hi everyone! I'm wondering if any current students could shed some light on being a CRNA student at MMU as someone who is not religious/catholic, and is actually atheist. I'm wondering how much of the catholic values are even portrayed in the CRNA program, as it seems like all sorts of people apply from all over just to have a chance of getting into CRNA school. Would you say it was weird or awkward on campus or within the cohort to not be religious? I'd love some more info on the lifestyle experience as a MMU CRNA student and living in Sioux Falls for didactic.

Hey! I'm a current student. They are mainly portrayed as giving back to the community, we did a volunteer day prior to starting our fall semester and helped at a soup kitchen. Part of your online orientation has religion, actually quite a bit. A nun will speak to you but it's all very basic stuff and talks about just the values of the school and how it began. I am Catholic but not religious by any means. You will have no issues.
