Hello everyone

I have just started working a couple days ago on the mother/baby unit and was having a hard time finding a report sheet that would make reporting much easier.I also have a habit of writing too much because im afraid of forgetting important info. I was wondering if anyone could help me with advice or a sample report sheet that they used for mother/baby .

Thanks:nurse:

Hello, I used a simple one. I made a table with a row for each bed: a "Mom" column and a "Baby" column.

The mom side would have date/time of delivery, C-sec/vag, age, GTPAL, postpartum/op days, feeding, Foley/voided, IV/rate, GBS status, and assessment things like Hgb, epis/laceration, and any social factors or consults.

The baby side would have sex, weight, feeds, mec/void, baths, Vit. K., bruising, and latest assessments.

That's the bare bones-- I'll update if I think of anything else!
