May I ask in your opinion what Canadian nursing textbook you have found to be the most useful?
McMaster has heavily recommended Canadian Fundamentals of Nursing, and wanted to know what you all think?
Elsevier: Canadian Fundamentals of Nursing, 5th Edition: Potter, Perry, Ross-Kerr, Wood, Astle & Duggleby
In my experience, schools recommend buying texts you never use, I don't want that to be the case here. What are your thoughts?
Cheers,

The textbook above is pretty much the textbook used for 1st year nursing students across ontario so yes you need it. Potter & Perry as we used to refer to it as has all the basic nursing stuff in i.e. procedures like dressings and catheter insertion, ect. It was the main textbook used for all of our first year labs as well as our nursing fundamentals lecture class.
I believe it also still #1 for heaviest nursing book haha
