hello all,
i have been recently accepted into a nursing school for adn and i'm really excited !
my ultimate goal is to become a pa or np one day after i finish my studies. i have attended a university for the past two years as a psych major to acquire the credits needed to go towards the nursing prgram i was accepted into; after nursing school i will have a little over 45 cr hrs. but unfortunately i won't have a degree. would it be smart to go back and finish out for a psych degree after i receive my adn?

I'm almost certain you'll need a bachelor's degree to qualify for basically every PA school there is... and you'll have to take courses like chem 1, chem 2, and even organic chemistry, genetics, and/or biochemistry for some schools. However, if you don't want to go back to school, you could always do an RN-BSN program online, and get your BSN and then apply to a DNP or MSN program to become a nurse practitioner.
