Hey y'all! Made this discussion for all my fellow peers that have been accepted to Moorpark's Fall 2025 cohort. What is your advice, experience or knowledge about the program so far from what you've gathered? Looking forward to meeting you all!

I was wondering about this too! Does anyone know if denial of admission would be a call too or just an email? Im worried that if other people got their acceptance call last week that I am not accepted 😞 I've been checking my email every day and answering every call just in case. LOL
They do notify denial of admissions, I'm not sure what type of notification they send. I had asked after I applied because I wanted to verify if my TEAS transcript was received and she informed me that if it wasn't received I would be denied and told it was because of a missing TEAS transcript and would have the opportunity to appeal it with submission of my TEAS transcript had that been the case because she couldn't give me a confirmation if it was received or not. She said the receipt of sending the TEAS transcript would be important in this case in order to appeal. She also said an appeal was subject to a case-by-case basis and not always the case. This didn't apply to my situation but I had asked about them notifying if you're denied a week after applications closed.
In case you don't hear back, LA Valley College's application period for Fall 2025 opens April 1st. I've heard really great things about their program, no negative experiences compared to other LACCD programs. I did read that the last day to receive out of district transcripts was March 15th but I know if you expedite your transcripts through Parchment to any of the LACCD colleges, it'll get processed before the application period closes. Hi! Congratulations to your hubby! Yes, they did state that during orientation due to them sending out acceptances earlier than other schools. They anticipate students declining their spot as they hear from other schools. This usually leads to them accepting most alternates and if not then they are promised a seat for the following semester.
