Hello everyone! As an applicant to Moorpark's ADN program for the Fall of 2017, I am starting this thread so I can exchange stats with other applicants! It's always useful to see what other applicants can bring to the table...
So, I'll start! :) Based on Moorpark's admission criteria, these are my stats:
AA degree
Overall GPA: 3.89
Science prerequisite GPA: 3.8
Remaining Prerequisite GPA: 4.0
Need to work
Advanced level coursework in a language other than English
TEAS Exam overall score: 90.7%
I calculated that my points are somewhere between 83 and 88... what about you? Share your stats to this thread :)
I was at the orientation yesterday as I got in AP for 2nd semester.
They said that if an alternate does NOT get chosen for fall semester, then they will automatically get placed into the next semester ONLY IF they submit all files and attend all mandatory orientations.
I also overheard them saying that all the alternates that got invited to the orientation showed up.
Got my letter of " Thanks for applying" The application process for MP is over. Oh well. Has anyone heard from Ventura yet? Not sure when they are doing their letters.

hey! Ventura normally does it around the same time. My first letter from Ventura was dated dec 16 so it will probably around the same time in may I would assume.

Hey guys! Just started posting on this site. I have been looking at your thread for updates. I am an alternate and just turned in all my paperwork. Still haven't been called to be selected for a spot in fall yet. Has anyone been called to be placed from alternate to fall acceptance since the mandatory orientation on April 10th? I know they were saying that all the alternates from spring cohort got in ( or something to that effect). Just trying to see how it is playing out for the alternates this time. Lol.
Congrats to all of those who were accepted at Moorpark. I just graduated in December, it is a wonderful program. I have books for sale. If you have a book list, contact me and let me know what you need.
Hey everyone! I just signed my acceptance letter to Moorpark after being placed on the alternate list. Is there a FB page that anyone has started for this incoming class? I'm moving into the area and am looking for an apartment/roommate. If any other students are in the same situation please reach out to me
HAHAHA thats crazy, because i called them yesterday too, and they said they were still working on letters and was just getting ready to let you know as well. LOL
