I am going through a similar situation except I graduated in 2011 so I am in desperate need of content review! Let me know what advice you get.
I'm in the same boat as you. I graduated in 2011 too and have started going through Saunders. I hope to have it completely reviewed and have a good grasp on it by the end of the month. Also, I hope to do 100-150 questions everyday and read the rationale. Since I'm currently not working, I will have the entire day every day to focus on studying. If anyone has any other advice, PLEASE let me know also!
Hi I am going through the exact same situation. I graduated in July, and my background held up my application to be approved I recently received my sit pass and I have been mainly studying from my exam cram PN book it has pretty good questions and most of the reviews on amazon were good plus a classmate of mine recommended it after passing.

Hello All!
I'm graduated in June 13. After that I moved out of the states. I had a hard time getting my ATT from the CA BRN because of a prior conviction. (It was also hard to get the paperwork from out of the country.)
Anyway, 6 months out of school I can finally take the test. I know I need to review. I am not sure if I should go with Kaplan or Hurst or something else.
My friends took Kaplan and all have passed but I feel like I need more of a content review.
I have Sanders 5th edition book and a Mary Hogan Pearson's book that is red. I am not very good at reading and staying focused. I'm more of an auditory learner.
I did pretty good in nursing school. I struggled more with staying focused and doing the tremendous amount of work, than with the content.
I think I'm going to schedule my test for Jan. 23.
Thanks in advance.
