I'm applying to spring semester. I've finished all of my prerequisites and I've passed the minimum requirement for my TEAS! I know I'm a little early, but I'm wondering who else is applying?

You will def get in especially since you have all of your priority classes done. I spoke to the admissions lady and she said spring is less demanding, they don't get as much applicants. She said if you have all your priority classes done and meet the minimum gpa and TEAS scores... We def are in.

Hey! Good luck. I started the program last year. They give you all the packets and information you need for immunization and shots at orientation with a generous amount of time to get it finished before going to the hospital. I would wait until then because Montgomery college is very specific with it, so follow their instructions. Very exciting hope you guys get in!

Thanks for the post! Are you guys able to pick where you had your clinicals. When I went to orientation, they said we could... Other students told me that you don't get to choose. Thanks again!

As first semester students, our schedules were handed out completely at random. (But I heard it changed so I'm not 100%) for the other semesters each student is given a number like a lottery and you get to choose which pre-made schedule you want. Basically you won't be able to make your schedule, only choose out of the pre-made schedules which is kind of annoying but everyone ends up being fine with the schedule they get.

The hospital choices are pretty good too- holy cross Germantown or silver spring, Montgomery general, Washington Adventist, sibley, doctors, suburban.

Ugh Im so frustrated! I'm pretty confident that I'll be accepted but I'm super worried about being ok'd by the clinical sites. I have a criminal record and I think it'll be a deal breaker :(

Holy cross just made their background check requirements more particular so you may not be able to go there. But you should be fine for the others.

I got my acceptance letter today!!! So earlier than expected. I was expecting it in mid October.

I live in Rockville. It came today certified mail. The acceptance confirmation is due by September 30 and orientation is October 5!

I'm so nervous! What time is the orientation. I have an exam the same day. I hope I will be able to make it if I get accepted.
