Montgomery College, Maryland - ADN Fall 2022

Hi! I am applying to Montgomery College in Maryland for the Fall 2022 session. I submit my application officially after I attend the informational session on March 21. Does anybody have any tips, words or encouragement? Or is anybody applying to the same program?

Can you get accepted if your GPA is lower than 2.5?

No, if your GPA falls below 2.5 minimum you will not be accepted into the program. This info is in the nursing program section on MC website.

And when they say a GPA of 2.5 for last 24 credits taken, does it include the classes in progress plus the previous semester or the last 24 credits based of the previous semesters prior to application?

It includes those classes that were most recently completed but not the classes in progress.

Ooh okay so the classes I just finished this Spring semester will not be included?

No if those classes weren't completed before that April 1st deadline then Registrar will not be reviewing those courses for admission purposes.

Oh thank goodness! So I guess they will not be looking at my A&P 2

Also, if I got lower than a 2.5 GPA during one of the semesters do I get disqualified for admission?

Is it within your last 24 semesters?
