Montgomery College Fall 2019

Published

Hi guys! I don’t think I’ve seen a thread yet for Fall 2019.

I think my overall GPA was 3.0 and I finished all priority courses with As/Bs. My TEAS was 76% overall.

Does anyone know what the schedule is like? Like how many days a week you have class (and what time does it start/end), what days are clinicals and what hours are those? Just need to know because I plan on working part time!

@cmg9311, it is. Hopefully, u'll get yours on Tuesday.

@cmg9311, thanks and yes it is torturing. Hopefully, u'll get yours on Tuesday.

My TEAS overall score is 76 and my gpa is 3.75. I didn't do well in the teas reading, got 70.2.

@Lat Gotcha! But congratulations!! ? It has been nerve wracking waiting for our letters haha

I got my letter today! When I called the college they said they'd send them out usually around Memorial Day to the first week of June!

Did you have to be present to accept the letter (like to sign for it) or they leave it in your mailbox?

I had to sign for it because it was certified mail.

Got my acceptance letter !

Congratulations!!! ?

My friend received a standby letter through certified mail today. Her TEAS was a 77 so I’m confused because I see that 2 of you had a 76 overall and didn’t they say the ranking was based on priority courses and TEAS scores?

Does she have a bachelors degree? I have a bachelors already and that counts for extra points. And I took a lot of advanced science courses for my undergrad and did well in them (not sure if that mattered to them). I finished all the required courses for this nursing program and got As and Bs in them.

Specializes in Nursing Professional Development.

Apparently, they were telling the truth when they said that it was not the TEAS score alone that they look at. Those people who get in with TEAS less than 77 have stronger scores in their classwork and/or other aspects of the application.
