Montgomery College Fall 2017

Hey guys! I couldn't find a thread for the Fall '17 semester so I figured I start one so that we can all share and support each other while we anxiously wait for our acceptance letters. I'm just curious what every one else applied with and if you guys applied to any other programs.

I got a adjusted score of 84% on my TEAS and a 99.7% on my reading, I have a 4.0 gpa, and all of my pre and co requisites completed. I have been working for 3 years now to meet the requirements for different nursing programs but because of the military and moving I have always been a class or two short for each program. This is the closest I have gotten to being able to get into a program and I am so excited but super nervous too. I wish June would hurry up and get here so I can know or not if I got in.

Were you talking about acceptance letters to the Montgomery ADN program? If so, those emails have gone out.

they don't send out acceptance letters for the nursing program until may or June and they send them out via certified mail.

I've also applied for the MC nursing program in the fall. From looking at past threads it seems like in 2013 they sent them out by May 12 and in 2016 it was the first week of June. Hoping to hear from them soon. I've also been calling about when the mandatory orientation dates are--so far I've only gotten "in June and early August."

Hi guys, I am dying of anxiety cuz of this acceptance letters. A friend told me that they are usually sent as early as end of May. I had a 78.6 overall and 72 in reading. I just hope that my good GPA is going to save me...

You are getting in for sure cuz that is a perfect score. I only applied to MC and I am not sure if it was a good thing. If I am not taken, I will just probably stay home and babysit... 😔

Hello! Getting super nervous now that we're closer to finding out.

MC is the only school I applied to. I decided against a BSN, since universities require more hoops to jump through and more $$$. Thought about applying to Prince George's since I live close by, but got bad vibes. I'll have to reconsider if I don't get into MC.

My TEAS Reading is 87.2 and total score is 89.3. I have As and Bs in my prerequisites. Not sure what my GPA is, since I've gone to a bunch of different schools.

I'll be taking BIO150 in summer II. The general bio I took at another school didn't transfer =/. And I'm still missing microbio. Anyone else missing priority classes?

Hi everyone,

This morning I called Montgomery College and they told me that acceptance letters would be sent by mid June!

I'm also very worried about my TEAS score, I didn't really prepare for the test and I scored 74% overall. I've got all the priority courses with A's and my GPA is 3.9. I only applied to MC so I really really hope they accept me.

Hey everyone!!I called the admissions office today and I was told that letters would be mailed out at the end of this week and next week. So keep your fingers crossed. I'm pretty sure everyone got in since they opened up more available seats for the program. I'm excited, cant wait to be in my MC scrubs..!!!

I got a certified mail slip today for a letter from MC! I'm going to the post office to pick it up tomorrow. *crossing fingers*

FYI keep an eye on the mailbox. They want you to confirm acceptance quickly. My letter says to return the confirmation to the admissions office by 5pm on June 2—not sure if it's the same for everyone?
