Here is our new thread ladies (Nikki, Andrea, Kristian, Marissa...and whoever else will be starting at MC this fall).

one more questions...are we supposed to bring our confirmation of payment form from precheck with us?

Crap that would mean I'd have to reschedule an interview. Man, I just love doing everything last minute!!!!

Exactly my thoughts Kristian! So do we take our Pre-Check confirmation of payment with us to Lab Corp for this? I think I'm gonna try and go tomorrow at 12:30 which will be as we're leaving for the beach. I haven't drank any alcohol since Saturday night so I should be fine, right? Omg...I'm really nervous about this now! Lol

I'd be careful going without an appt on a Saturday Nikki. That place tends to fill up like crazy on a weekday, so on a weekend I'd think it would be 10x worse! But if your hubby doesn't mind waiting for you for (possibly) hours and you don't mind waiting that long, I say go for it.

DH would stay home with the kids. I guess I'd just sit and read the homework. Ugh. I don't want to wait for hours but I think it would be less stressful for me.

Yes, take the Precheck confirmation.

Ok...I'm getting paranoid too. Another stupid question...I wanna stop by after my Hep B vac on Thu, do you guys think it'll screw up any readings? LOL!

But, seriously, do you?

The form says they do drug screening starting at 8 but I called and the auto message says 8:30. If I am there right at 8:30 maybe I won't have to wait long. Fentons opens at 10am on Sat.

I doubt it would Kristian. Being vaccinated, you are being injected with the disease...not a drug. Correct????? Or have I learned nothing in micro?

Well, I've just read some things about the ETG alcohol test (not sure if this is what we're taking but it is a urine alcohol test that can detect the by-products of its metabolization up to 4 days after use). They're saying some false-positives can come up from things like toothpaste, hand sanitizer, and even some ripe fruits. I should think you'd be okay Kristian, but seriously I would worry a little bit about the rubbing alcohol swab they'll be putting on your arm before the injection. But that's just me and you know me....I'm very paranoid! Lol

I just opened a 1-L bottle of water and my goal is to drink this entire thing before dinner at 6! LOL

Yeah, I read that too, Andrea. Good point about the rubbing alcohol. I also read not to use mouthwash.
