Montessori

I had a second interview with a Montessori school for a nurse position. I have a feeling I will at least get an offer.
I’m concerned that they couldn’t really tell me if it will part time or full time or what the start/end times would be. They had to meet and see what the grants would be and the budget prior to really giving me a number for pay.
Anyone else have experience with being a school nurse in a Montessori Academy?

Specializes in school nursing, ortho, trauma.

I haven't - however a word of advice:

When they offer you a position, make sure the details are going to be spelled out.  Hours, pay (salary or hourly), overtime, work calendar,  etc.  And also find out if contracts  / positions for the following year will be contingent on grants.  It'd be a heck of a thing for them to suddenly cut the position because a grant didn't come through.
