Hello all!

I know it's early to make this thread but I wanted to see who else is planning to apply to this program.

The first open house is in February. Anybody else going?

Hi all! For those that recently took the test, how difficult was it? I am taking it in about a week and I'm super super nervous!

R u taking your test at monte or Cochran?

Amlee922 study quizlet for science, math is basic, the writing is the killer, make sure you don’t waste any time reading the paragraph, read the questions first. Good luck!!

Hey guys! I am new to this.

I am in the process of gathering all that I need in order to apply to this school. I am concerned about their admitting process.. Did everyone on here who was eligible to take the Kaplan test have a C or higher in chem in hs? What if you didn't take it/didn't pass? I never took chem in college either .. Also, I see some on here speaking about pre-reqs. Do I have to have those done prior to applying? Please help ?

Hi guys!

Its been a while! Lol I’m seeing all the anxiety in your postings in my inbox and thought it’d be a good time to chime in, plus it gives me a quick break from N2 and having my head explode lol. Everyone is worried about test scores and I understand. We had 40 students accepted to our class and I’ve spoken to many and if I had to guess, I’d say 10-15 scored in the 80s, we’ve heard of one in 90s (still trying to find out who? Lol), but the majority seems like they were in the 70s, and I think 1-2 were in 60s. As others have mentioned, as I have heard, they look at your whole body of work, not just one thing. I know two people who applied before and both got 75s but one had 4 prereqs missing and had grades of Bs/C+s and she was rejected and the other only had one missing prereq plus her grades were mostly A’s and B’s so she was accepted. I know it’s a cliche but seriously, there’s no point in trying to figure out the admission process because it’ll just cause more stress and anxiety. It seems like you guys are close to finding out about admission so just hang tight :). Good luck to everyone!

A C+ or higher in Chem in either highschool or college is a requirement to take the Kaplan test! They suggest to have most pre reqs done before starting the program but they accept some that still have a few left. Good luck with everything!!

Thank you!

Ok, I thought it was monte. The science and math was not hard for me, the reading and writing were the hardest. Use the act and sat to study for reading and writing. It will help you alot. I use quizlet for science. There were two dosage questions for math.

Thank you so much for the tips! Also, do we need to memorize any conversions for the math portion?
