Montefiore School of Nursing Spring 2020

Hello all!

I know it's early to make this thread but I wanted to see who else is planning to apply to this program.

The first open house is in February. Anybody else going?

Hi guys! I made some phone calls and thought I’d share the info with you. I also applied to Cochran and assumed that I had to retake the Kaplan test because that is what people here said. I called the school to confirm I can bring my transcripts (HS and College) with me to the information session and they said yes. I also asked if I already took the Kaplan test if I have to take it again and they said no. I just need to get a copy from Montefiore. I then called monte and asked if I could pick up my grade and they said it will be sent in your decision email which will be sent out the week of October 28. So we will be hearing the acceptance that week and it will include the Kaplan breakdown.

Chonchran last day is novemeber 1 so we cant get our grades before our letters

They test out into November. If the application deadline is November 1st they test for a few more weeks after that.

I’m very happy to hear that it was confirmed that those who applied to Cochran don’t have to take the test twice.

Me too! I did so well on the test at monte I really didn’t want to take it again honestly. I think if you didn’t do that great and you wanted a better score you could take it again but I’m glad it’s not necessary

Of course it would only make sense to retake to get a better grade. I’m happy for you ?

You are amazingg thank you for that !!! That’s so good to know... I’m gunna start looking into Cochran just Incase !!

Yes girl apply to both if you can! The deadline is November 1

The application is online. You have 2 weeks to send in your transcripts. They test into November so I assume you can send the test grade in once you get it from monte

Omg now I’m excited !!! But I wonder who you spoke to because I called and was told that I have to retake the exam and when I went in to give in my documents I asked again to make sure and I was told the same thing. I’ll ask again because I really do not want to retake this ?
