Montefiore School of Nursing Spring 2020

Hello all!

I know it's early to make this thread but I wanted to see who else is planning to apply to this program.

The first open house is in February. Anybody else going?

Call and ask them if you can send them your grade from Monte. They also do the Kaplan test. I read somewhere I believe on the thread for the fall class that someone did that. No need to spend money twice on same test.

Ok are we able to go to monti and ask them to print out our test grade?

I just asked my co worker who applied to chochran and the application itself is also 50

They all have application fees. I know I saw somewhere in the other groups thread that someone mentioned you could send your grade from one school to the other. Give them a call and check. Doesn’t hurt.

If you apply for Cochran they want you to take the exam with them. They don’t allow you to send grades from other schools. I called and they told me that, I’m sad I have to take over the exam ? it’s another $50 for the exam and $50 for the application

That really sucks. I was hoping it was true that they allowed to transfer the grade. Doesn’t make sense to make people pay twice for same test.

Look at the bright side, you already know what you’re in for the second time around. I suggest you wait for your results from the Kaplan test at Monte so you can gauge your strengths and weaknesses to prepare for the cochran test.

hello ive been following this thread for a while now i took my test on September 19........the waiting process to hear back from the school is so annoying i hope we all get into the program
