Montefiore school of nursing fall 2019

Anyone else applying to montefiore for the fall. I am so nervous but so excited because I really want to go to this school.

The proctor at montefiorre said a 75 and over is a very good score. So guys don’t stress the Kaplan is short with the questions so a few questions wrong and you are easily in the 70’s range. Just breathe guys. I promise u once you finish the exam you will laugh about it because it’s not as bad as we tell ourselves. And yes I admit the reading and the writing are very boring but so are the passages in the ACT books. Buy one if u can or borrow one. Do as many question because believe it or note it’s the same style questions as the Kaplan.

From what I know, they determine acceptance based on gpa, Kaplan scores, and how many of the prereqs you have finished. All of that combined so if u have more pre reqs done and or a higher gpa than other students you may still have an upper hand than those who got high test scores but don’t have as high of a gpa or as much done. Don’t quote me on any of this but from speaking to people through past blogs and that have been accepted that’s what I’ve gathered.

Word problems could be tricky but you have to think about what the question is asking you and set it up . My chemistry professor always told us to underline it and put it together to set up the word problem . Look up Khan academy which will be a huge help .

As far as acceptance go that information is incorrect . I didn’t get accepted into their evening program and my science gpa was high , I have a bachelors, and all my prerequisite maybe even more . I saw people on this forum who were accepted and didn’t even have AP1 or micro completed . My sister is also a student in the nursing program and that didn’t even help ?.

Oh wow.. I have no clue how they choose them then.. but I hope those who have been helpful to one another on here and made a connection make it together because it’s so much easier to get through anything with support!! Sending u good vibes!!!!

Thanks! I’m trying to stay positive but I am very disappointed. This is my second time taking the exam ( for every application you have to retake Kaplan test ) and on the the 1st exam I received a 73% on my reading and this time it was lower. But for the passage there were too many things to remember . It asked a question where would a sentence fit in a paragraph before sentence 3 , after sentence 8, etc . Something in the lines of removing repetitive words , where did the lake form , politics ..... I’m sorry I can’t remember . The passages were nightmares .

As I said I have stuff from everywhere and anywhere but jahmesia’s science questions were on POINT!!!!!! I could have had a 100 on the science section if I paid attention to everything on that paper man. Tomorrow morning I will gather the other stuff I have. Make the little video. Because i learn better if I watch and listen than just read for myself. So I hope that helps a little bit. The math section two of the exact questions were on my test.

You should delete those pictures and email to those interested. You may never whose watching and could change the test .
