Montclair State University Prelicensure MSN 2025

Hi! I'm starting a new discussion board for people who are interested in applying and/or are accepted into this year's cohort for the Montclair State Prelicensure MSN program. I just submitted my application to the program yesterday. I used to attend the school as a Public Health major and graduate early so I could work as a PCT as well as focus on my last prereq courses. If any current students have any information about the program, please add it below as well because I haven't been able to get much information about it from a nursing student's perspective.

Is anyone else still waiting on a decision? I feel like they forgot about my application entirely. I emailed earlier in march and they said to give them a few more weeks.

Hey, I am still awaiting decision too! I already accepted in Mercy University at Bronx, but if Montclair will do it for me, I'll take this program!

I'm happy to hear that I'm not the only one still waiting. I fully thought something went wrong with my application.

I asked them 4 times about it, because I need to make my medical documents for Mercy University. And it's long way from my house also! I need to use bus and then metro and classes starts at 8:30😓 I hope MSU will accept me and I can drive my car. Hope you'll be as well at MSU!

Yes, I hope we'll both be there in May. They originally told me I would know in February and it's almost April.

Same as me! They told me 4-6 weeks, but since Jan 17th it's almost 3 months. And it's annoying me. Because I lost my day when I could ask a refund for 500$ deposit at Mercy University😭 but if not they I have already another university(Mercy).
