MONEY! How can I afford this!?

Nursing Students General Students

I'm entering my 4th year in June (I take summer classes so that I don't have any in consolidation) and am wondering how the heck I'm going to afford this!

I'm a nursing student in Ontario, Canada and am very reluctant to apply for OSAP because that would mean taking out a loan from another place. I already have a bank loan that I may no longer be able to get extended because my co-signer recently got laid off. How do you guys afford this? I'm already working part time about 15 hrs a week and then casually at another job when I can pick up the hours. I just don't get it!? Any ideas??? :uhoh21:

I'm sorry, what is OSAP?

I truly hope all this works out for you! Is your loan (ref: co-signer) a school loan that can wait til you graduate?

Maybe you can find some info online, maybe there are facilities that will help pay your loan after graduation?

Good luck!

OSAP is the ontario student... something...! It's student loan money from the provincial government. It's really hard to get though. I'm not worried about paying back my loans at the momment, just extending it and was wondering how other people work around this?? Are there funds out there? I applied for bursaries and got enough to pay for a textbook... lol

THanks!
